There are many great resources that help educate teachers and students the like about protecting themselves in the online world. One that I would like to highlight is Carnegie Cyber Academy. This site uses gamification to educate children and youth about being safe online. By going to their Training Missions tab, you can have your students go through a series of 'missions' to achieve and collect different badges. Currently there are four different missions that are available to a registered student, that the site calls cadets. These missions teach about email threats, web site safety, and cyberbullying. By using gamification, your students will be able to learn and interact with these extremely important topics of online safety, without even realizing it!
